I have to dispute window replacement as valuable when most cases with older homes the windows are old growth wood in decent reparable shape. These are summarily ripped out for cheap environmentally unsound vinyl sashes that will not enjoy the lifespan of the originals . High quality storms do the same effective job and can be installed outside or inside. I have seen more than too many window replacements in flips that completely destroyed the character of the house.
Where do people live that a door replacement costs $3000?
