Cary's path to Kentucky Select Properties was a circuitous one. Shortly after receiving her MBA
from UNC-Chapel Hill she began life as a corporate global nomad. During the next 25 years she
bought, sold, rented, renovated, and decorated multiple houses on three continents. She
became adept at evaluating a home's assets, liabilities, and possibilities. Those skills just
happen to perfectly match the requirements of first time buyers, upsizers, and downsizers!

"Once my daughters moved into their own homes, it was time to begin my Second Act. A career
in real estate was clearly calling my name. I found myself mentally marketing houses in my
neighborhood while walking my rescued dogs. Nothing is more exciting to me than making a
new house into a new home. Downsizing is my new frontier!"

To that end, Cary acquired a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. She has established a
small network of professionals who can help manage the myriad facets of downsizing, which
may include aging in place options, senior living facilities, disposition of personal property , aka
How Did I End Up With SO MUCH Stuff, financing of new properties, and estate planning.
Cary is an avid supporter of Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Center for Women and Families,
The Healing Place, and is a passionate animal advocate.

"So why should you want to work with me? Because I've moved more times than I can count, to
5 states, Asia (twice), and Africa...and all of the moves were complicated. I loved every one
because each brought their own adventure. The more complications, the greater the adventure.
I would love the chance to guide you through your next adventure!"
