Buying, selling, designing and renovating real estate in Louisville has been a life long personal passion. A wonderful business career led me in 2007 to link personal passion with a new business focus, resulting in what has become a successful real estate practice with Kentucky Select.
I attribute much of that success to clients who knew me as former colleague, neighbors, life long friends, new friends, children of friends, friends of children, referrals from all of the above, and various super people I’ve met along the real estate road, all who’ve entrusted me to represent them during their buying or selling real estate adventures.
Real estate was a logical transition from my former career leading corporate human resources, executive search, talent acquisition and diversity awareness for Brown-Forman Corp – all about managing expectations, making connections, influencing outcomes, and getting the job at hand done. Before that I had founded a successful Executive Search firm, which, after 10 years, I sold to join Brown-Forman. And, a degree in Interior Design and a Law Degree has been enormously useful to guide me in delivering good results for my buyers and sellers.
The privilege and responsibility of this important work requires devoted attention to the market, the community and to each client, and an ability to listen keenly, understand and respect all the people and all the players in the real estate process.
I grew up in St. Matthews, graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and UofL Undergraduate and UofL Law School (licensed in Kentucky). I live in the Highlands with my husband, Lloyd Kelly, a professional artist who exhibits in galleries and museums in many cities, (he teaches Tai Chi in hospitals, too), and he helps me when needed (he is also a licensed REALTOR®, too), and our yellow lab Baxter.
