Jo is an Indiana native who realized her dream of living in New York City for 16 years interrupted by a 3 year stint in Kenya with extended visits to other African countries. Upon returning to New York, Jo was fortunate enough to land a coveted position with Angelo Donghia, Donghia Associates, one of New York's top interior designers and then moving to a position with a Wall Street firm.
Upon leaving The Big Apple, Jo decided to become licensed to sell real estate. While looking around for a home and location to practice her new profession, she fell in love with the wonderful architecture of Old Louisville and all that Louisville has to offer. Her decision was made. That was 22 years ago.
Having started a new profession in a new city, Jo was diligent in following up, staying in contact and working to find the right home for her clients. It paid off then and continues to be the basis for her success as consistently being a top producer.
Listening to her clients' and adhering to their wishes, attention to detail, protecting their interests as just the basics. From the first meeting to the closing table and after, "clients for life" is her goal.
Jo is proud that many of her best friends are also real estate clients.
She has been a volunteer at Norton Hospital downtown for many years, an active member of Saint Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church, Daughters of the King, Board of Directors or Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center, past Ambassador to GLI, and active on various Boards at the Louisville Board of Realtors.
Jo's motto is "PROFESSIONALISM WITH A PERSONAL TOUCH" because purchasing a home is a very personal, emotional, and important event. Jo's goal is to make it an enjoyable, satisfying experience.
