I join the Kentucky Select team after 15 years of coaching and competing in women’s rowing at the Division I level. I moved to Louisville in 2004 to coach women’s rowing at the University of Louisville, serving as the head coach from 2007-2012. My tenure at the University has exposed me to a broad array of successful marketing and recruiting strategies. In addition, being successful in Division I collegiate athletics depends heavily on effective communication and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. I also know first-hand how to set the bar high, work hard, and produce positive results (while also having fun and enjoying the process!) 

Louisville has been like home to me my entire life, as both my parents were born and raised here; and many holidays and summer vacations were spent visiting grandparents and life-long family friends. Like many, I quickly learned what an amazing city Louisville is and after meeting my husband (a Louisville native) I knew I wanted to make Louisville my home.

Now, with three children, we continue to enjoy all the great things that Louisville has to offer (Cherokee Park trails, Douglass Loop farmer’s market, Waterfront Wednesday’s and crepes at Java remain some of my favorites!) I am active in the cycling, running, triathlon and CrossFit community and have participated in the many sporting events Louisville has to offer, to include the Louisville Ironman event.
