Cary’s path to Kentucky Select Properties was a circuitous one. Shortly after receiving her MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill she began life as corporate global nomad. During the next 25 years she bought, sold, rented, renovated, and decorated multiple houses on three continents. She became adept at evaluating a home’s assets, liabilities, and possibilities.

 She also learned to relocate and reorient her two children to new locales swiftly and successfully. They discovered that competitive tennis was remarkably portable and played the junior circuit wherever they lived. Many matches were played against non-English speaking opponents without officials present.

 “Once my daughters moved into their own homes and I was happily settled in Louisville, a career in real estate was calling my name. I found myself mentally marketing houses in my neighborhood while walking my rescued dogs, Jack and Grace. Nothing is more exciting to me than making a new house into a new home. Downsizing is my new frontier!”

 In Louisville, Cary is an avid supporter of Actors Theatre, Louisville Ballet, Kentucky Opera and loves exploring the thriving visual arts scene. Favorite community partners include The Center for Women and Families and The Healing Place.
